Well I'm back, different picture server now but other than that, nothing much has changed :)

Just a little close-up picture I made from a statue on my desk.

Close-up Owl

Well while I'm busy, I might as well add another picture. This is one of my "extreme close-up" sessions, I just set the distance to 2 or 1 cm and take pictures with the flash on. It over-exposes the background but the will give a nice effect to the items in the foreground. This is a small owl statue i got from Greece.

Rush hour in the aquarium

Well it's been a looooong time since I last posted anything here. I guess it's just my curse, I never seem to be able to follow through on a commitment with a blog.
Anyway, I'll give it another shot and will see how much I'll be able to post this time. Starting off this time with a picture of heavy fish traffic in the aquarium. Always in such a rush, darn fish, it's not like they've got anywhere to go.
This isn't my aquarium by the way, just in case you're wondering. 

Sky ablaze

I just can't get enough of sunrises, this one was taken in the beginning of the year, when it was still dark when you wake up. In this case it looks like a big explosion in the sky, it even reflects on the water below.

Vine forest

I took this picture yesterday, the red colours on the leaves might make you think that it's autumn, but this is just taken in spring. These are vines stuck to the wall by the way, taken under a rather odd angle. It looks a bit like a forest in the distance though.

Bird Trek

A bird trek, quite a common sight around these parts. I don't remember what kind of birds they are, but I always enjoy seeing them fly in formation. It makes them look so organized and smart.

A rare pet picture

I'm in a good mood today, so here's another picture :) This is Stoffel, one of my two cats. He's pretty much scared of anything and a real trouble to get on film. I normally don't post pictures of my pets, I figure that the only people interested in pet pictures are the ones who actually own the aforementioned pets. But I'm making an exception to this one because of how he's hiding behind that plant while giving me an accusing eye. Apparently he doesn't like having his picture posted either :)

Farm in the evening

Well as promised, here's another evening picture. Together with a rather typical dutch farm in the background, it looks quite rustic, but be glad pictures don't come with the scent option. Around this time of year there is a lot of manure being thrown over the fields, which results in that rather typical farm scent.

Dusk time

Well it's been a while since I last posted, this is partly because I was away on vacation for a week and because I kinda ran out of inspiration on what to post next. Anyway, here's a new one taken during dusk, my favourite time of the day. Everything always seems so peaceful and quiet, and the light makes for some really nice pictures. I might put another evening picture up a little later on, still looking if I might improve it a little (it looks a little blurry, blame my unsteady hand :)
